How Do You Spell It?

Why are there so many different ways of spelling Kabbalah? Because there are so many different branches and adaptations of the religion/science.

Cabala is of the Christian variety.

Qabalah (sometimes Qabala) is the Hermetic variant usually dealing in the magikal branches of the study, ie. occult, Paganism, etc.

Kabbalah is kosher! The mysticism as it applies to Jewish tradition.

This blog is called KabbalahCurious.com because I began my studies at The Kabbalah Centre (very Jewish in its teachings, run by the rabbis with heavy focus on the Jewish holidays, the Jewish bibles, etc.), though it is clear that in the past year and a half I have broadened my horizons and have begun study of the more meditational and magikal elements of what I guess would be called Qabalah.

The core belief system stands in each and to my knowledge, at the very least Qabalah and Kabbalah are not mutually exclusive. It's very possible one could easily study all three without conflict.
