One Last Round

Many of you may have noticed that while the energy has definitely shifted in the New Year, there isn't a lot of evidence to support this so far -- just a feeling, right? It's no coincidence that we're in the sign of Capricorns, known for great intentions with little follow-through. The air has the hum, but nothing great has come ...yet!

You can see this not only in your own lives, but in world news right now too. The Democrats have taken the House and the Senate so there's a change there... but nothing's happened yet. Bush admits wrong-doings in the war so there's a change there... but he decides to do more of the same.

This is the final week, before we move into an age of Aquarius, which is so fine musical numbers were named after it! But there's still these next 7 days of hardship ahead. And I say "hardship" -- not hard work. Because many of us right now want to work hard, want to change, but it seems there are various obstacles standing in our path preventing us from really giving it our all.

Well then, when you can't give it your all... give it all you've got.

Don't fall into extremist behavior this week. Don't let the obstacles detour you from at least doing as much as you can. BATTLE INDULGENCE!

Look in the mirror when you find things you don't like in others this week and recognize that they may be things you don't like within yourself. Now is our last chance during this astrological period to "walk through" our problems instead of turning around and walking in the other direction with our tail between our legs.

And most importantly, don't forget that problems and challenges are ultimately great gifts from the universe. They make us stronger. They take us to places we wouldn't have gone without them where we find things we'd never have found. They make us look to the internal and the Source for strength instead of the external and the physical world.

Let your problems lift you to a higher ground this week, not to the depths of depression.

Hey Jason. My intuition told me I should touch base with you again, My intuition has been right a lot of the time, I don’t think anything will shift until we get into Aquarius and on the bright side the good side of that sign is brotherhood and peace and everything that song says in “Hair”. No wouldn’t that be lovely. Love your postings very deep , we often go through periods of reinventing ourselves. I am trying to do that now. Still trying to start my tarot and reiki practice, got a job at the moment it’s a trail run until this Friday, you had Yule and the birth of the sundog. So your little sungod has been reborn, we had midsummer here but rebirth can happen at any time, I think the tarot card “temperance”’ is apt . balance.” you seem to have recreated yourself beautifully ,We are always more than we seem, you deserve exactly what you said , we all do. Hugs martin

Long time no hear! I'm glad to see you are moving forward in 2007 - I know last year was a bit hard on you, as it was for me.

I've gotten a bit away from my studies too, but I'm finding a slow return to them. I'm starting to make better decisions and move forward with my life. And it's funny when that happens that the old temptations come back out of nowhere to try and derail you. Pretty amazing stuff.

I hope you went out with that 20 year old you mentioned. :)

After all, he's right - you never know what life will bring your way.

Lately, I've been experiencing the awesome power of "so as you think, so it shall be." I wanted to sleep with someone unattainable, or pretty much so, and then out of nowhere - it happened. Several times. My disbelief that it was happening pretty much set the stage for a dramatic (of course) meltdown because of my expectation of it. You'd think I'd learn by now to keep my thoughts optimistic. :)

At any rate, the whole creation of my universe thing is pretty daunting. I realize I can have whatever I want. I just have to want it. And I have to believe in it.

Sometimes that's a bit scary proposition - that you can create anything in life. If you were God, and in a way, we are - what would you do? Sometimes I wonder in our reverence for the Light if we fully appreciate the depth of compassion and forgiveness we need to have for it - because it certainly must make choices as well - the choice to let us run our foolish games, the choice to have this whole process of Life as it is, and so on. It can't always be an easy thing being God, though I'm sure it has its rewards. :)

Anyway, just a few cosmic thoughts for a new year.

And if you ever come over to Disney World, well, I'd take you out to the best restaurant in town. ;)

Hit me up sometime

All the best
Jim

Martin - Good to hear from you again! Yeh, it does seem to be a serious time of rebirth for so many people. I'm still working at it, but it's starting to fall into place nicely. I have a feeling something amazing is right around the corner. You put it perfectly in regards to Aquarius. ;-) xo L, J.

Jim - Well, I am planning on coming to FL next month so we'll have to see what we can do about that Disney trip. I have never experienced the "other" side of Disney -- the hotels, nightlife, etc. ... Yeh, I have been in MANY situations like that -- and oddly enough it took probably over a HUNDRED of them for me to realize, "Wow, I really can have anyone and maybe even anything I want!" It IS daunting! Because we are like God in a sense. I think that's what they mean when they're talking about being created "in his image" -- with his power to create and will things to being -- but on a much smaller, humble level, of course. ... Hope your new year is off to a great start! xo L, J.
