Things Forgot: Year in Review
So as many of you may have noticed, I had been lagging in posts here over the second half of last year. Financial difficulties, relationship in turmoil, career questioning... so much was going on that I really lost sight of the big picture and stopped my spiritual study.I traveled a great deal in December and brought my old journals with me. There's so much from the previous year's studies I had learned but completely forgotten in nearly six month's time. So I've made a list of highlights, Things Forgot that I need to look at each morning and remember.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who needs a reminder going into the new year. ;-)
- Everything worth achieving is difficult, scary and takes absolute certainty. Set your own path, deviating from the norm. Obstacles = Gifts. Laws of reality are meant to be broken, ie. gravity to the airplane. NOTHING is impossible!
- See all people as human beings, individuals - not cattle.
- Daled Nun Yud: Enough is never enough! Keep your eye on the bigger picture, the end goal. Never settle for less than what you really want because that is what you are worth. Everything you want to achieve is already here just waiting for you to reveal it and grab it. Believe! If you're not sure of where you're going, you're never going to get there.
- Throughout the journey to your destination, never act like you have nothing to prove. You always do -- to others and yourself.
- Don't be a creature that operates on a "receiving" level, but instead a "sharing" level. Don't receiving includes not receiving criticism, compliments, etc. If our intent is purely to give, nothing can hurt us.
- No fear. Fear is ego. Ego is Satan.
- Make sure in all vocations, you like up to your name of Jason meaning "The Healing One. (Okay that one's just for me! lol)
- No need for inflated ego or delusions of grandure to be the greatness of who you already are.
- It's never about anything other than the "right now." Fill each second with positivity and light.
- Practice selflessness all the time.
- Don't be afraid of letting fearlessness be known. LOL! Find freedom every second of the day by breaking the chains of self-consciousness.
- Don't hate when you lose or make mistakes. Realize it's all part of the learning process. "If it's bitter at the start, then it's sweeter in the end." "You've got to lose to know how to win."
- Ask yourself "why" you're doing what you're doing and change your perspective if need be from "indulger" to "giver." What can you give in this act? Make that your focus.
- Creativity is creating/creation.
- The power of belief is the strongest of all. Mind over matter.
- If you're afraid of judgment it's because you're judging others. Stop!
- You can care about others without caring about their opinions.
- In business as in life, be your own best advertisment/manager.
